Promising northeast Greensboro suburb by highways and Revolution Mill
Textile Drive-Waugh Street puts northeast Greensboro residents close to major highways, parks and Revolution Mill, a former flannel mill that now hosts a plethora of restaurants, businesses and events. The neighborhood's home prices have traditionally been on Greensboro’s lower side, but the neighborhood’s appealing location has attracted investors whose efforts have contributed to sales prices rising by 26% over the past two years. “A lot of money is being poured into that area both by nonprofits and individual flippers who want to revive that area,” says Kay Jones, a Realtor with Elevation Realty who has a year of experience selling homes around the Triad. “The neighborhood had gone down a little bit, and they’re trying to turn it around. They’ve done a pretty good job so far, but it’s a gradual process.”
