Harrington Park is a small New Jersey borough with the calm, quiet atmosphere of a small town. Community and volunteering make up a big part of life in this small neighborhood, with its thriving Volunteer Fire Department and Ambulance Corps. The borough's small-town feel is only added to by its many wooded walking paths and tree-shaded roads, which wind past Cape Cods, colonials and a handful of midcentury modern homes with spacious front and back yards.

Harrington Park has a thriving park system with one of the highest recreational acreage per capita in New Jersey. On the northern edge of the neighborhood, Pondside Park offers residents a playground and a pond where they can fish or enjoy a scenic walk along the path beside the water. On the neighborhood's southern end, Highland Field is popular for its basketball courts, sports fields, playground and shaded walking trails, as well as its seasonal farmers market.

Harrington Park School is the district's only public school, serving elementary and middle school students in the borough.

Most residents drive a little outside of Harrington Park for shopping, including groceries. There are a few Italian restaurants in town, but most dining options will also be a short drive away in a neighboring town, keeping the neighborhood quiet and residential. Every year, the town comes together to celebrate events like Town Day, featuring a host of local vendors and fostering the sense of community that so many residents love about Harrington Park.

GreatSchools: The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process. There are not many local events. The area is more of a residential town.

This is a residential area so it's great for biking, not so much walking. There is also limited buses and for trains you definitely have to drive to get to a station.

Again this is mostly a residential area so there are dining options around... Just have to drive and find them

There are no events or attraction. This is a residential area where people live.
