I feel very safe in the small town of Hesston because there really isn't crime and there's the police to help. The police are very kind and helpful in all sorts of ways, even for little jobs like children running away from home. I don't have any concerns.

I love the small town and feelings of community. It is a great place to raise a family in a safe environment. The schools are really good for being a public school and the town always has something going on. I have loved it here and will probably come back to raise a family.

Hesston is a wealthy, small town, containing a college and public schools K-12. I grew up in Hesston, and have continued my secondary education here. Hesston is a great town for all people, especially families. There are many events hosted by the community, and infinite ways to get involved.

Overall, as a family of 7, we are quite happy with the town of Hesston. The small schools are wonderful. The staff are great and the curriculum is exceptional for all ages. It is not a busy town and has no traffic, which I enjoy. Many parks around town for the children. Cons- "clicky people." Also, this is a dry town and there is nothing to do at night. Not even any restaurants for date night.
