A close-knit community

Brookhollow West is a quiet neighborhood tucked away in the Cypress-Fairbanks area of Houston. “The community has a lot of original owners in it,” says Tonia Jaeggi of Keller Williams Realty Professionals, a Realtor who has sold homes in the area. “Brookhollow West is very close-knit and family oriented. It’s the kind of place where kids walk to school and play outside. It’s easy to see that homeowners clearly love their neighborhood. There are a lot of trees and outdoor space here.” The north Houston area is known for its majestic live oaks. Brookhollow West is no exception. The iconic trees lend beauty and Southern charm to the area. Their expansive canopies provide welcome shade from the Texas sun and are home to several species of birds, including warblers and orioles.

Brick facades and big backyards

Craftsman and Colonial-style homes line the streets of the community. Their brick façades complement sprawling manicured lawns. Most homes have private driveways and attached garages. Backyards are generous, many have inground pools and patios ready to welcome guests for a cookout. There are few sidewalks, but well-shaded streets help keep dogwalkers and joggers cool while traveling the neighborhood’s winding streets. Depending on the home and lot size, prices in Brookhollow West can range from around $225,000 for a ranch-style brick home to about $575,000 for a Traditional-style home.
