The section of Northwest Park north of Smiling Wood Lane consists of apartment complexes, while the area south of this street is mainly filled with residential cul-de-sacs with single-family properties. Prices tend to be in a consistent range of $250,000 to $350,000. “The market in Northwest Houston is still very active, although home prices have not been rising as steeply as in the past years, which is good for buyers in the market at this point,” Martinez says.

Northwest Park is 5 miles from Willowbrook Mall, one of the largest malls in the area.
