Independence, Ohio, a small city characterized by its industrial buildings and access to nature. "Independence is a lot of industry, says Realtor Patty Renaud for Russell Real Estate Services." With easy access to nearby cities via major highways and public transportation, residents enjoy the best of both worlds—small-town charm and urban convenience. From its scenic parks and homegrown dining scene, Independence has a lot to offer, making it a desirable place to call home.

The town is extremely safe and ideal for families to raise children and have them attend top rated schools. Independence is also very clean and safe with police and rescue minutes away. The plows take a while to reach my neighborhood, however that is the only downside.

Very safe community but the small size of the city makes it seem like you have no privacy sometimes. Everyone seems to know everyone's business. Great public school system as well.
