Suburban community 10 miles from downtown Indianapolis

Hill Valley is a suburban neighborhood in Perry Township in the southernmost part of greater Indianapolis. Known for its family-friendly atmosphere, the neighborhood is filled with spacious lots, mature trees, and homes built mostly in the late 20th century. Thanks to several active houses of worship, the close-knit community has plenty of support and community togetherness. Indiana State Road 135 runs through the area, and there's access to US-31 and Interstate 465 for commuting. "You're about 10 minutes from downtown and easy access to the highways around Indianapolis,” says Realtor Lori Crosley of Century 21 Scheetz.

Neighborhood full of ranch-style homes

Ranch-style homes with a blend of midcentury character and modern updates are the most prevalent in the neighborhood. Hill Valley has bungalows, condos, and split-level homes. Prices in the area range from $110,000 to $405,000, with a median price of $271,000. “You’ve got some different unique homes there. You’re going to find some ranches. You’re going to find some two stories with basements, probably built from the 60s to the 80s, 90s,” Crosley says. Hill Valley is an established neighborhood with little room for expansion, so there's not much new construction happening, Crosley adds. The CAP score for Hill Valley is a 4, on par with the national average.

Perry Meridian High School students can participate in tv production

Students can attend Douglas MacArthur Elementary School.. Sixth-grade kids can attend Perry Meridian 6th Grade Academy. Perry Meridian Middle School takes seventh and eighth-grade students. Perry Meridian High School offers students the chance to join the Falcon TV club where they produce a daily morning news broadcast. All four schools in the pipeline earn an A-minus on Niche.
