Motoring around the state capital
Interstate 55 cuts through the eastern half of Belhaven, running from the Gulf of Mexico to the Great Lakes in its entirety. In Mississippi, it treks through the rough center of the state, stopping in cities like McComb, Winona and Ridgeland on its way. Bus lines, operated by JTRAN, are also available.
