A gated community in a secluded part of Jacksonville
Passing through the gates of Jacksonville’s Pablo Creek community brings views of wooded areas, glistening lakes and architecturally distinct homes. Within the community’s 400 acres of land are 270 homes on oversized lots. Mature oak trees line the wide, winding roads, while palm trees can be seen in front yards. Walking paths give opportunities for exploration. “It’s a lovely neighborhood with large lots that have an old neighborhood feeling,” says Michael Jordan, a Realtor with Navy to Navy Homes LLC. Located south of J. Turner Butler Boulevard among miles of green space, the community feels like a secret refuge away from the bustle of big-city life, even as downtown Jacksonville's amenities remain close. The neighborhood's location also provides easy access to Mayo Clinic Hospital and the state's Atlantic Coast beaches.
Varied architecture on large lots
The community’s estate-style homes come in several architectural styles. Each home fully embraces its style while keeping the overall feeling of the community intact. French Country- and Spanish Mission-inspired homes are among the most prominent. Homes typically range from $2 million to $3.5 million, and HOA fees for the community are usually between $400 and $500 per month. Those fees go in part toward the upkeep of the neighborhood’s landscaping. The community has a CAP Index Crime Score of 1 out of 10, lower than the national average of 4.
Pablo Creek Golf Club values exclusivity
Central Park at Pablo Creek Reserve is 4.5 acres of green space at the heart of the neighborhood with mature trees and water fountains. Though the neighborhood is located just north of Pablo Creek Golf Club, membership is not included. Golfers joining the exclusive club will experience its 7,000-yard, Tom Fazio-designed course, ranked 20th-best in Florida by Golf Digest in 2024. Nearby South Beach Park & Sunshine Playground is a one-stop shop for athletes: facilities for basketball, tennis, soccer, sand volleyball and pickleball are available, as is a skate park. Jacksonville Beach, approximately seven miles away, has lots of free parking and offers a clear sunrise view. The Brumos Collection is a classic car museum dedicated to the works of Brundage Motors, including more than 30 historic Porsche vehicles.
St. Johns Town Center has retail options
The nearby Intracoastal Plaza shopping center is home to essential stores like Publix Super Market. St. Johns Town Center, 8 miles away, has Target, Nordstrom, Dillard's and Dick's Sporting Goods among its more than 175 stores. The center is also home to restaurants like M Shack, which serves smash-style burgers and spiked milkshakes. Marker 32 is an upscale steak and seafood spot fit for special occasions. Orange Blossoms serves southern breakfast staples. Alhambra Theatre & Dining has served customers food while they watch Broadway-style shows like “West Side Story” since 1967.
Mayo Clinic Hospital is close to the neighborhood
The community has walking paths, but a vehicle is necessary to travel through the gates. The neighborhood is less than two miles from Mayo Clinic Hospital. The shops, restaurants and nightlife of downtown Jacksonville are approximately 18 miles away. Travelers can take I-95 to reach Jacksonville International Airport in approximately 30 miles.
Big-time football at EverBank Stadium
Downtown Jacksonville’s EverBank Stadium is home to the NFL’s Jacksonville Jaguars and hosts college football’s annual Gator Bowl. The PGA Tour's Players Championship is played each March at TPC Sawgrass, nine miles away from the community. The event is colloquially called the tour's “fifth major” tournament.
Atlantic High School encourages video game design
Students are served by Duval County Public Schools. Students can attend Alimacani Elementary School, which earned a B+ rating from Niche. Kernan Middle School holds a B- rating from Niche. At Atlantic Coast High School, students can enroll in career and technical education academies on video game design and TV production, among other subjects. The school earned an A- rating from Niche.
GreatSchools:
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
