Pennock Point offers waterfront homes on large lots

The small Jupiter neighborhood of Pennock Point, located on the city’s north side, juts into the Loxahatchee River, offering waterfront views and lots of up to an acre. “It’s cool because it can sometimes be hard to find large lots in Jupiter, so it’s a special little bubble,” says Lindsey Tronolone, the founder and lead agent with The Jupiter Group at COMPASS Florida. “You get a decent amount of land and you’re not on top of your neighbor.” Tronolone is a long-time resident of South Florida and sells throughout the area. She says the neighborhood has many appealing qualities, along with large lots. “The beautiful homes, the killer waterfront, and you’re not far from the best that Jupiter has to offer.”

A mix of home styles and prices ranging from $1 million to $10 million or more

Home styles include coastal farmhouse and boxy modern, most of them built after 2020. Ranch-style homes built in the 1970s and 1980s are also popular. Prices range between $1 million and $3 million for a three-bedroom house near the center of the neighborhood and climb to $10 million for sprawling estates along the Loxahatchee River. Lawns are expansive and manicured, with tall shrubs for privacy and palm trees. Backyards often feature pools and private boat docks. The neighborhood has no HOAs, which Tronolone says is a draw. “You get the beautiful location without the pricy HOA or the rules telling you what you can and can’t do,” she says. Another draw is its low crime rate; the neighborhood has a CAP Index score of 1, three points lower than the national average.

Indiantown Road, the Jupiter Inlet District are shopping, dining and entertainment destinations

Shopping and dining options are located along Indiantown Road near Interstate 95. The busy thoroughfare features popular big box stores, a mix of small and large chain restaurants, and services like banks, salons and gyms. The neighborhood is close to the Jupiter Inlet District and the cluster of date night-style restaurants, shops and entertainment options there including Guanabanas, a waterfront restaurant and long-time Jupiter favorite and 1000 North, an upscale restaurant accessible by car or boat. Tronolone says that Jupiter’s nightlife, compared to nearby West Palm Beach, is less intense. “There are no clubs open until 4 a.m. Jupiter is more lowkey in that regard, but there is still a ton going on,” she says.
