Starting in March 2024, the city of Kalamazoo has urged residents to continue to support local businesses amid road construction along Whites Avenue near Oakwood Plaza to reduce it from four lanes to three to maintain traffic flow and decrease accidents, adding bike lanes, and repairing and improving sidewalks.
