A Tarrant County suburbia near the sought-after Keller Independent School District
At the heart of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex in Keller sits Chase Oaks, a suburban locale encompassing large, single-family homes, an award-winning park system and highly-rated schools. "It's a cool blend of empty-nesters who have settled down into an upscale home and young families that moved there specifically for the schools," says Realtor Josh Fortney of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate. Chase Oaks is surrounded by a growing list of upscale shopping and dining options, as well as major employers in both Fort Worth and Dallas. Keller has been recognized as a Tree City USA for over 23 years, and locals can enjoy several well-maintained recreational areas, with most offering sports fields, play spaces, biking and walking trails and covered picnic spots.

A mixture of renovated 1990s properties and newly built subdivisions near US-377
The winding, leafy streets of Chase Oaks reveal large Craftsman homes with big, sprawling yards and multicar garages. Smaller ranch-style dwellings with hipped roofs also dot the neighborhood. Inground pools and covered backyard patios are also common features. Much of the neighborhood was established in the 1990s; however, stately Traditional new builds are popping up in the Westbury Estates subdivision at the corner of Rapp Road and US-377. Here, homes often have four to five bedrooms and a price range of $600,000 to $900,000. Residences that exceed $1 million are those sequestered in caul-de-sacs, with over 3,000 square feet of living space and larger lots. In general, most are priced from $450,000 to $750,000, while single-story properties with three bedrooms often range from $400,000 to $500,000. According to Fortney, the housing market in Chase Oaks is competitive, with some homes selling in under two months. "There are a few pockets that sit a little longer because the backyards are smaller. Those homes can spend 70 to 80 days on the market, but most homes in Chase Oaks fit in a 40-day range."
