Getting to Lakewood or Denver
The valley is connected to Morrison Road, which takes traffic to Lakewood, and State Route 470, which circles the Denver suburbs and connects to Interstate 70 toward the city's north side. The center of Lakewood is seven miles northeast, and Downtown Denver is 16 miles east on the 6th Avenue Freeway. This neighborhood does not have much access to public transportation. The nearest bus stops are on Jewell Avenue, about three miles east in West Lochwood. The Denver International Airport is 37 miles northeast on the other side of the city.
