Madrone Canyon has Redwood trees on every street
Madrone Canyon is known for its 100-foot-tall Redwood trees. They line the streets and shade the area, often making it 10 degrees cooler than the rest of Larkspur. “People travel from all over the world to see the redwoods, so to live among them is what it’s all about,” says Garrett Burdick, a Realtor with Coldwell Banker Realty who’s sold homes in the neighborhood. Some redwoods even grow in the middle of the street, and the neighborhood feels like it was built around these trees rather than the other way around. Part neighborhood, part Redwood grove, there are hidden hiking trails throughout Madrone Canyon, and downtown Larkspur is less than a mile away.
