Gated community of single-family homes and condos

Out-of-the-way and moderately priced, Stallion Mountain is located on the southeast edge of Las Vegas. Most homes here are situated around a golf course, with views of the mountains to the east. Developed in the 1990s, Stallion Mountain includes three subdivisions of single-family homes and condos. This gated community offers homebuyers choices of floor plans, square footage and community amenities. “It’s a great neighborhood close to downtown at a more affordable price,” says Shyla Magee, a Realtor with Urban Nest Realty, who’s been selling homes in the area for nearly 15 years.

The challenging course at Stallion Mountain Golf Club

The community’s most prominent amenities are its recreational opportunities. Stallion Mountain Golf Club is a semi-private, 18-hole course with views of the nearby mountains and the Las Vegas Strip. The challenging course boasts mature pines, bunker-lined fairways and six lakes. The club has hosted PGA events and the Frank Sinatra Celebrity Classic. Stallion Mountain residents with dogs enjoy Dog Fancier's Park, where pups can burn off energy in five enclosed runs. For those who like horses, Horseman’s Park is an equestrian event venue with more than 20 acres of barns, stalls and arenas, plus RV parking. Events include dressage competitions and barrel races. Just south of the neighborhood is Clark County Wetlands Park, a 2,900-acre habitat with hiking trails, plenty of flora and fauna to discover and a 45,000-square-foot nature center near the parking lot.
