In the lively historic heart of Lebanon
Downtown Lebanon, located 30 miles east of Nashville, is the core of this lively city. The historic downtown provides the southern charm of Middle Tennessee with its small-town vibe while still providing residents with the vibrant shopping and dining culture of a city. “It’s a historic downtown on the upswing,” says Sandra Garretson, Realtor at Williamson Real Estate with 25 years of experience selling in the area. Historic preservation is the cornerstone of this community, as many of the renovated historic buildings adhere to strict guidelines to maintain their structural integrity. Downtown Lebanon is where history and modern amenities converge.

This popular local watering hole offers American pub grub and premium craft brews. 19th-century homes dot along tree-lined blocks
The tree-lined residential blocks throughout the community highlight the area’s rich heritage, originally coined “Cedar City” because of the large population of trees. Canopies shade the diverse mix of renovated historic homes adorned with well-preserved architectural details that date back to the 19th-century. Bungalows, ranch-style houses and new constructions with a Tudor influence dot the landscape. Homes with 1,500 square feet or less sell from $200,000 to $350,000. Homes with 2,500 square feet or more tend to fetch a higher price, ranging from $550,000 to $750,000.

Bright yellow corn, a Middle Tennessee staple, can be found around different produce stalls. The seasonal event promotes local farmers, skilled artisans and lively musicians.
