Liberty features a wide breadth of housing
Liberty has a range of house styles, from traditional stucco homes with hipped roofs on lawns accented with cabbage palms and blossoming magnolias to ranch-style homes with U-shaped designs and two-car garages. Kids growing up in the area attend Marion County Public Schools, which earned an overall B on Niche. Students kickstart their education at Hammett Bowen Junior Elementary School, which has a student-to-teacher ratio of 17-to-1 and a B on Niche. Students progress to Liberty Middle School, which has a B-minus on Niche. Students head to West Port High School to earn their diplomas. The school hosts the Marion County Center for the Arts, the only visual and performing arts magnet program in Marion County, as well as the Biomedical Science program, the Global Logistics program and the Early College program. Niche gave the high school an overall A-minus on Niche.
West Port High School is a highly rated, public school serving 2,825 students in grades 9-12.
