According to Monica Dunlap, broker for Totally About Houses and a Louisville native with over a decade of experience in the area, “With approximately 20,000 residents, Okolona is big enough to offer everything you’d want while being small enough to feel like home.” Locals have access to the Jefferson Mall’s over 100 stores and surrounding amenities, including well-known chain restaurants and everyday essentials. Various parks and recreational facilities offer spaces for neighbors to come together. “Okolona is a welcoming community that works well for almost anyone,” Dunlap says. “Living or visiting Okolona is sure to leave a good impression.”

Prices typically range from $150,000 to $300,000, depending on property size and condition. “These established neighborhoods are warm and inviting for residents,” Dunlap says. “The reasonable price and ranch-style layout are often desired by homebuyers.”
