Residentially focused neighborhood close to Louisville favorites
Newcomers to Louisville may know the city best for horse racing. But residents in Taylor Berry, located immediately west of the well-known Churchill Downs racecourse, know their part of town as a conveniently placed residential hub with a resilient spirit. A tight grid of modestly sized homes points to the neighborhood’s origins as a streetcar suburb for turn-of-the-century citizens. "The area is growing in desirability because of Churchill Downs. It's a diverse neighborhood with plenty of opportunity for new homebuyers to buy their first property," says Hossein Tavakoly, Realtor with United Real Estate Louisville. Tavakoly has sold homes near Taylor Berry and across Louisville for more than seven years.
