Vilas Park
The southern region of Vilas is home to the expansive Vilas Park. Sitting on the northern shores of Lake Wingra, the park is home to tennis courts, a basketball court and a playground along with the public zoo and beach that lie within its borders. The Henry Vilas Zoo allows visitors to walk through a variety of habitats to view animals like lions, lemurs, capybaras and polar bears.
