Rimmon Heights, less than ten minutes from Manchester, is community-centered. Rimmon Heights was once home to textile mills and its workers. The community lost its identity after the textile industry's decline and eventual death. “Rimmon Heights fit in a certain box for so long, but what happens when people pass away or sell their houses?” says Joshua Winn, Realtor with Realty One Group Next Level in Manchester. “It was given a new ‘why.’” Rimmon Heights was given a new likeness in the 21st century, and locals work hard to continue to grow the community. Residents have a Facebook page where community events and neighborhood announcements are posted. The Rimmon Heights community hosts and promotes clothing drives, money management seminars, neighborhood park cleanups and other volunteer-orientated events. Residents care about their neighborhood.
