The mostly residential neighborhood features several newer homes with various styles and sizes. Three-bedroom, traditional houses built in the 2000s and 2010s usually cost between $300,000 and $520,000. Larger homes built in the 2020s with more modern features typically range between $550,000 and $680,000. Houses fit comfortably next to each other, with some sitting on cul-de-sacs. Prominent athletics at Horn High

Children may start school at nearby Achziger Elementary, which receives a B grade from Niche. The school is named after Don Achziger, an assistant superintendent of Business Services for Mesquite ISD. The next stop is Berry Middle School, earning a B-plus from Niche. Berry Middle School opened its doors in 1997 and is named after Judge Frank Berry, a Mesquite Assistant Chief of Police and Justice of the Peace. Horn High School gets a B from Niche and is known for its athletics program, winning state championships in several sports, including basketball and track and field.

Falcon’s Lair residents rely on their vehicles to get around, with no public transportation available. Lawson Road leads directly south to Interstate 20 for commuting into the heart of the Metroplex.
