One such destination is Zoo Miami, offering residents and visitors alike a day of fun with more than 2,500 animals representing close to 400 different species that can be seen on foot or on a tram. Just north of the zoo is the Gold Coast Railroad Museum, home to over 40 historic rail cars, including the Presidential Rail Car “Ferdinand Magellan,” which was the President’s personal railcar from 1943 until 1958.
