New and improved Pulaski Park

The 26-acre Pulaski Park has undergone some major renovations in recent years, and a transformed portion of the Kinnickinnic River now flows through the area. Other renovations to the park include a new basketball court, a new children's playground, a new futsal court, a new pedestrian bridge over the river, improved trails, river overlooks and a new pool patio with open views of the river. Pulaski Pool is a heated indoor pool that offers water exercises and swim lessons and is available for private rental. "Residents like the fact that Potawatomi Casino is nearby," Klose says. In addition to gambling, the casino/hotel, a 5-mile drive via back roads, has several restaurants and holds a variety of events.
