An older suburb between two of Mobile’s largest recreational facilities

Colonial Heights is almost perfectly situated between two of the largest recreational facilities in Mobile. Magnolia Grove Golf Course comprises over 650 acres of land just north of the neighborhood, and Langan Park has walking trails, tennis courts and an art museum immediately south. Along with nearby outdoor amenities, Colonial Heights has a grocery store and a few local businesses on Moffet Road. Jeanice Durgin, a local Realtor and Associate Broker at iXL Real Estate, describes the community as an “older, well-established neighborhood” with a “newer feel.” She says, “A lot of people over there take good care of their properties, so it has a great look and feel for not being in a high-price area – at least, that’s the feedback I get from most of my clients in Colonial Heights.”
