Central Mobile County community
Directly east of the Mobile Regional Airport, Mobile Terrace is a south-central Mobile County community offering easy access to major corridors if you’d like to live near large employers such as Medicath, Airbus Military and the University of South Alabama. Streetscapes are laid out in geometric grids within a heavily treed terrain. Narrow, paved streets surrounding the community park are mostly numbered, making it easy to find your way around. Although homeowners are close to a central transportation hub and busy downtown, it’s all residential, bordered by a handful of local eateries and venues. Locals can enjoy year-round fun within a mile or less at the Greater Gulf State Fairgrounds and the Mobile Flea Market. Alexyss Ferguson, Office Assistant with the Mobile Flea Market, says, “We have a lot of regular locals who not only shop the market but also sell here. Some are local business owners who live in the area, and others sell crafts or household items. And while locals do love it, we’re also a huge hit with travelers. People come from out of state to buy and sell here.”
