Diverse living options in West Mobile
There’s no rose without a thorn just as there’s no Mobile, Alabama without Thornhill. Though a predominantly residential neighborhood, this community isn’t far away from many of the city’s urban amenities. “The reason anyone would want to be in Thornhill is because it’s close to the hospital and shopping,” says Elaine Sessions, a Realtor with Roberts Brothers who has been selling homes in Mobile for almost 40 years. The University of South Alabama isn’t far either, nor are spacious parks and delicious restaurants. Thornhill can be divided into smaller subdivisions which offer an array of homes from modest ranch-style homes to sprawling, five-bedroom New Traditional builds. There’s also a 55+ community whose residents might be particularly attracted to the proximity to the hospital. Prices broadly range from $200,000 to $600,000.
