Distinctive homes, golf and scenery just outside Marco Island
One of the largest gated communities between Naples and Marco Island, Fiddler’s Creek is designed with scenery and the outdoors in mind. Both full-time residents and part-timers are spread across over a dozen individual villages, each with different home sizes and styles. Homeowners can play tennis or pickleball on the courts, swim at the pool, or golf at the two on-site courses. Part of the development borders one of the largest mangrove estuaries in the country, and bodies of water thread through the area, including the namesake Fiddler’s Creek. Manicured lawns, palm trees and bubbling fountains complete the scenery inside all three gates. “When I lived in Fiddler’s, I would drive in and out of the gate every day and think of how blessed I was to live there in such a beautiful place,” says Nina Burkhardt, a Realtor with Coldwell Banker Realty who has been selling in the Naples area for over 20 years.

In-demand membership at The Creek Course and The Rookery
Homeowners can use the bocce ball, tennis and pickleball courts, fitness center, spa, two pools and main clubhouse. Boaters can take kayaks or pontoons on the community waterways. There are two on-site golf courses, The Creek Course and The Rookery at Marco, and golf memberships are highly sought-after. “If you buy a home here and the owner has a golf membership, you get to buy the membership, too, and skip the line,” says Randy Keys, a Realtor with RE/MAX Hallmark who has lived in Fiddler’s Creek for a decade. “I had someone look at one of my listings who already has a home here, but he’s looking to buy that house to get the membership and then put it right back on the market.”

Condos range from $400,000 to $600,000 and coach homes are $700,000 to $1 million.
