Golden Gate offers waterfront homes and friendly price points
Located in inland Naples, the Golden Gate neighborhood may be about 8 miles from the beach, but it still offers residents proximity to water. Canals, lakes and ponds are woven seamlessly into the infrastructure of the roads and subdivisions of the community, with many homes featuring waterfront access to take advantage of popular area activities like fishing and kayaking. Golden Gate offers potential homebuyers more reasonable prices than in much of Naples, where home values have nearly doubled since 2019. “The relatively affordable prices in Golden Gate are a huge draw for many homebuyers,” says Jean Romano, a Realtor with Sun Realty and a neighborhood resident.
One of the neighborhood jewels, Golden Gate Community Park has an impressive public pool.

Golden Gate's streets are lined primarily with modest ranch-style homes dating from the 1960s to the 90s. Newer, larger houses and estates sometimes sit two or three lots deep, with long driveways shaded by lush palms and pines, and many have no HOA restrictions. Gated communities include Forest Park featuring canal-front homes and a private clubhouse. Most homes in Golden Gate are priced between $400,000 and $2 million; however, some larger estates in Golden Gate run north of $4 million. There are also a small number of condo complexes, mainly 55-plus, with prices in the $200,000 to $350,000 range.
