A lakeside neighborhood with everything nearby
About 30 miles from Houston is Nassauu Bay, a small city bordered by Clear Lake. The lake serves as one of the biggest draws to the area. Besides its scenic views and water sports, Nassau Bay is also located next to the NASA Space Center, making it an ideal location for working residents. "Great water views are a given, and Nassau Bay has a huge employment center for NASA so that draws people in," says Tim Surratt, a Realtor with Greenwood King Properties. "Many major hospital centers, including Methodist, have also moved their secondary offices to the area." Nassau Bay sits at the "halfway point" between Houston and Galveston, so residents "get the best of both worlds," according to Surratt. Homes start at $250,000 and go up to $600,000.
