A quaint coastal community
Neptune Beach was built in the 1890s with plans for “a city by the sea” that slowly evolved into about 70 cottages by the 1930s. After seceding from the city of Jacksonville, the neighborhood evolved into the tight-knit beachside haven it is today. “It’s a very active community,” says Sarah Rocco of The Rocco Group, a Jacksonville-based Real Estate company. “You’ll see a lot of residents on rollerblades, bikes and out jogging or surfing.” Neptune Beach residents enjoy a relaxed atmosphere with quaint houses close to the sandy beaches. Bordered by Atlantic Beach, the area is tucked between the Intracoastal Waterway and the Atlantic Ocean.
Some residents of Neptune Beach have opted for townhomes as their choice of homestyle.

I've lived in Neptune Beach my entire life, and it's the perfect place to have grown up. Bring a short walk or drive to the beach, as well as a short drive to downtown and shopping areas, you never run out of things to do. This cozy beach town has so much charm, and you'll feel at home in no time. There's also a ton of night life as well.
