Master-planned communities reach a new height with Nocatee, Florida. Started more than 20 years ago, the community is now home to over 20,000 residents living in unique subdivisions centered around a thriving town center. Nocatee sits just 10 miles from the beach and about 20 miles from St. Augustine and Jacksonville, so access to local attractions and amenities is convenient. Above its contemporary homes and accessible location, the family-friendly lifestyle is the biggest draw, says 30-year Realtor Robert Rose with Watson Realty Corporation. “The whole community is really focused on the family. The school system is excellent. There are so many kid-friendly amenities, like a splash park and water park, and for adults, we have farmers markets, live music and happy hours. All the events are family-oriented too—it’s a very welcoming, community-centric place,” says Rose.
