Living it up in Glen Highlands
Sitting up in the hills of Oakland, Glen Highlands is, quite literally, elevated Northern California living. According to Colette Ford, a managing partner with the East-Bay-based Grubb Company, it differs from the city’s metropolitan districts thanks to a generous dose of outdoor recreation. “The area has a little more of a suburbia feel than Oakland. The residents like the hills, and they like being close to the parks,” she says. Add stunning homes, historic eateries and plentiful outdoor recreation to the perks of being a part of Glen Highlands.
