This Oakland community is named for Skyline Boulevard, with its older ranch-style homes, and for the palatial hillside estates nestled among the redwood-covered highlands. “It’s quiet up there, and the access to outdoor space is pretty special,” says Realtor Mary Canavan of The Grubb Company, who has sold homes in the Bay Area for over three decades. “However, they’re farther away from amenities, so you definitely have to be prepared for a commute.”
