Small neighborhood, next to Omaha hot spot
Less than 2 miles from the bustling Benson, Benson Gardens gives buyers a chance to live near one of the hottest spots in town, without all the commotion. The small neighborhood is centrally located between Keystone and Benson, and its northern edge allows easy access to Greater Omaha. “The location is pretty unbeatable,” says Katie Huber, a Realtor with Keller Williams Elite Real Estate, who has been involved in real estate since she was 19 years old. “You can walk to places in Benson, which you can’t do in the western parts of Omaha. You have all the restaurants and nightlife a few blocks away, which is a huge draw.”
Downtown Benson is a hub for local entertainment and dinning.
Just to the east is Downtown Benson.

If properties are priced right and updated, they move before the weekend most times,” Huber says.

Growing and learning in the Omaha Public Schools
Benson Gardens is districted for Omaha Public Schools, which scores as a B-minus on Niche. The district assigns schools based on street address, but parents and students can apply to enroll at any of the district’s schools. Students attend Adams Elementary, which grades a C, Monroe Middle, earning a C-minus and Northwest Magnet High School. Northwest scores a C and allows students to choose one of three academy pathways – emergency response, legal studies and public and community service – in addition to its core classes.
