Home prices in Florida Center North vary depending on home style, though as Florida in Motion Real Estate Agent Kim Hawk says, "compared to other places in the United States, this area and others in Orlando has a relatively low cost of living." Condominium prices range from $100,000 for apartment-style condos to $350,000 for luxury condos with more square footage. Regarding single-family houses and townhouses, a townhouse or ranch-style house needing some T.L.C. will cost around $229,000, ranging up to $$600,000 for updated contemporary houses.
Local parks and country clubs provide a variety of recreational activities for locals to enjoy. Prince Hall Park features a walking path leading by a sparkling freshwater lake, playgrounds and grassy fields perfect for throwing a ball around with friends. Eagle’s Nest Park is a vast green space where locals can spot herons, eagles or ospreys on a birdwatching outing, relax in picnic shelters or play a game of softball on one of the park’s ball fields. Golf enthusiasts can practice their backswing at Metro West Golf Club. This expansive 18-hole public golf course provides unique challenges to golfers of all experience levels. Just three miles down Vineland Road is Universal Studios Florida, the world-famous theme park with rides and attractions themed to media falling under the umbrella of the Hollywood Studio.

Public school students are served by Orange County Public Schools, starting their academic journeys at primary schools such as Eagle’s Nest Elementary. The school has an overall C-rating on Niche and teaches from pre-kindergarten through fifth grade. Students move on to intermediate and secondary institutions like Carver Middle and Dr. Phillips High School. According to Niche, the former school has an overall C-rating and the latter has an overall A-minus rating. Dr. Phillips High School has a student-to-teacher ratio of 23:1 and offers students a head start on their careers through specialized courses in fields such as agriculture, engineering and cyber security.
Nearby thoroughfares like Vineland Road and the I-4 Express give commuting workers a straight shot to the downtown area and elsewhere in Orlando.
