Peaceful living northwest of St. Louis
An established community since 1928, Pasadena Hills is a neighborhood designed around its natural features. Though it has a population under 700, the community is technically a city with its own mayor. Though Pasadena Park borders the neighborhood, Pasadena Hills features larger homes and lot sizes. “It’s a very historical area,” explains Lisa Davis of Berkshire Hathaway Select Properties, an agent with 3 years of experience in Greater St. Louis. In fact, in 2004, the neighborhood became a registered historic district, allowing the community to preserve the charming architecture currently in place.
Charming Pasadena Hills homes in a leafy neighborhood
Throughout the neighborhood, shrubberies line concrete walkways, and stones accent arched doorways. While many homes feature colonial-style architecture, some English- and Tudor-style homes can be found along the sidewalk’s edge. The neighborhood’s organic street pattern lends itself to a storybook atmosphere, its roads planned around mature greenery and a small lake. Because Roland Boulevard and Country Club Road offer two-lane streets with nature-rich islands as a divide, the community streets are seldom congested. Though a few homes sell for less than $200,000, most homes in Pasadena Hills cost between $300,000 and $400,000.
