Pasadena Lakes well-kept neighborhood for all ages
Pasadena Lakes stays true to its namesake with two lakes forming the center of this Pembroke Pines neighborhood. This area primarily consists of single-story homes, with palm and crepe myrtle trees lining the streets. But the lakes themselves, while not accessible from the street, act as a backyard for some of the homes. It is also common to see small piers and decks extending from the homes into the lake. “It is a well-kept neighborhood, it’s an area that most people are not aware of,” says Jacqueline Bacaris, a realtor with Keller Williams. But while the neighborhood is a bit hidden, it does offer quick access to an elementary school, medical facilities and plenty of entertainment options.
Ranch homes and no HOA activity
Prices here range from $500,000 to $750,000, with primarily ranch-style homes available. Most homes have three or four bedrooms, with some having as many as five. Large lawns are typical in Pasadena Lakes. Many of the homes in the neighborhood also have pools. Bacaris says that a lot of the housing in the neighborhood is older, so it is not uncommon to see homebuyers remodeling, and people of all ages being attracted to the area. Bacaris also notes that the neighborhood does not have an HOA, but owners have to maintain their yards per the rules set by the city.
