Eponymous park attracts community

Many residents enjoy the outdoors in this central area of the community. The eponymous park, Hunting Park, offers ten acres of open area for residents to enjoy and socialize. The Better Homes Realty Group's Mike Cirillo says that the location sees a lot of picnickers and carnival goers. The track is great for jogging and there's also a jungle structure for the kids to play on. The community pool is a popular spot for summertime lounging and swimming. Youth baseball games are held at Lighthouse Field. Throughout the year, the facility offers a wide variety of sports programs, one of which is soccer. “It has football, basketball, soccer and softball leagues for all ages,” says Cardona. “The park itself has restrictions. It has to be a park forever.” This means that none of the park’s acreage can ever be developed on.

Hunting Park is known to be a diverse neighborhood that come together when necessary. Unfortunately due to the crime and poverty it's not very safe. I will like to see community service, neighborhood watch or any type of involvement, and less crime to provide a safer environment for the children.
