Peaceful Plano suburb offering excellently rated schools and easy access to amenities
For Liberty Park residents, home isn't just a place to hang their hats--it's a place to relax. Cooling off in the backyard pool, watching the sunset from the back patio or gathering the family around the dinner table are what makes this community home. "You're still close to a lot of shopping and all the major highways, but it's a peaceful little oasis. That's what most people are looking for--a place to escape but be close to everything they need to be. And this is one of those places," says Julie Bologna, team lead at the Julie Bologna Group with eXp Realty. Bologna is a multi-million-dollar producer of real estate with over 10 years of experience. In addition to its highway access and retail amenities, Liberty Park offers some beautiful outdoor areas, like its namesake park. The community is also popular with families due to the A-rated schools that serve the area.

Ranch-style homes with backyard pools minutes from downtown Plano
Liberty Park’s primary feature is its residences, which are traditional brick and paneled ranch-style homes set back on neat lots lined with oak and myrtle trees. Buyers can also find contemporary New Traditional houses throughout the neighborhood, with stone exteriors and front-gabled or flat roofs. Multi-family housing, including apartments and townhouses, is closer to the President George Bush Turnpike. Many of these homes are brand-new and include state-of-the-art kitchens and appliances.
Bologna says most homes in the neighborhood have spacious yards. "You have a little more space, so people like this area a lot. You're not so close to your neighbor, and the houses aren't cookie-cutter," Bologna says. Many backyards in the community have in-ground pools, perfect for staying cool during the hot summers. Rear-entry garages are standard in the neighborhood, offering security and privacy for homebuyers. Sidewalks connect the lush green lawns, perfect for a morning jog or an evening stroll.
A traditional ranch-style house in Liberty Park will cost between $375,000 and $450,000—contemporary New Traditional homes list for around $575,000. The newer townhouses in the area usually cost $450,000 for two bedrooms and $500,000 for three bedrooms.
Residents of Liberty Park enjoy well-maintained parks and green spaces.
