A sunny golf community just outside Prescott
Characterized by Spanish-style homes, lush desert vegetation, mountain backdrops and a large golf course, Stoneridge is a resort in the middle of the Arizona desert. “Stoneridge is a golf course community; homes are generally on smaller lots, so it’s more geared for older, empty-nester types,” says Realtor Bryan Turner with Re/Max Mountain Properties, who has sold many properties in the area. “There’s not a lot of yard to take care of, but there are very nice, decently-sized homes.” This community sits just 2 miles off State Route 69, ensuring that Prescott Valley’s healthcare and shopping conveniences and Prescott’s lively cultural scenes are just a short drive away.
Stoneridge is tucked away in the foothills of the Bradshaw Mountains.
Many of the homes in Stoneridge have shade trees in the front yards, some larger than others.

Golfing and getting outside at Stoneridge
This neighborhood revolves around the StoneRidge Golf Course, a 2,000-acre, 18-hole course situated among the Bradshaw Mountains. Established in 2002, this public course sits at a 5,200-foot elevation and offers panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. The community comes together at the StoneRidge Community Center. Here, neighbors meet up at the pool or over a game of pickleball, while the fitness center is open 24 hours a day. Stoneridge is dotted with a half-dozen small parks like Overlook, Home Fire, Trailhead and Settlers Parks, all of which feature small walking paths. Fence Line Park includes a small playground area, while Wander Way Park’s vast green field offers a venue for picnicking and playing volleyball. Just to the north of Stoneridge, Fain Park is one of Prescott Valley’s most visited outdoor spaces. The lake, popular for fishing, is also ringed by a hiking trail that leads past a historic stamp mill and even a gold mining display.

Shopping along State Route 69
Not only does Stoneridge connect with State Route 69 via Stoneridge Drive, but the Prescott Valley Crossroads shopping center sits at the junction of those two main roads. This plaza includes a Sprouts Farmers Market and sporting goods stores, while its W&Z Asian Bistro & Sushi Bar is known for both its Asian fusion cuisine and its colorfully lit bar. “There’s a Dutch Brothers, which is really popular,” says Turner, “and a Raising Cane’s is about to open.” Stoneridge is a 4-mile drive from the Prescott Valley Town Center. Here, supermarkets like Safeway, Walmart and Fry’s sit beside local and chain restaurants, and the local Harkins Theatres multiplex showcases both blockbusters and independent films. Other shopping options lay westward along State Route 69; “Stoneridge is also very close to the Pine Ridge Marketplace,” Turner says.

Mediterranean architecture in the heart of Arizona
Stoneridge is one of Prescott Valley’s newest neighborhoods, with most homes built in the 21st century. While these houses may be relatively new, some residences recall Arizona’s Spanish colonial era with barrel-tiled roofs and Mediterranean designs. Others have distinctly Tuscan brickwork or feature the Pueblo-influenced Santa Fe style of architecture. Single-story residences fetch prices between $358,000 and $670,000, while two-floor houses range in value from $675,000 to $800,000. Large custom builds can cost between $1 million and $2.3 million, with the lot sizes of these homes varying from 4,200 to 5,400 square feet. Most of Stoneridge’s streets are lined with palo verde trees and other desert foliage, offering shade over an extensive network of sidewalks. “It’s a very well-kept neighborhood, and people tend to take care of their homes and yards,” Turner says.
The HOA fees in Stoneridge are 87 dollars a month as of 2024.
