For open green space, the 500-acre Forest Park is home to a wealth of amenities like hiking trails, a golf course, sports fields and an amphitheater. A big commuter neighborhood, Glendale offers access to transportation. Many residents drive into Manhattan for the work day, a trip of about 45 minutes.
