About Randolph, MA
Pho, La Scala and big-box shopping
Randolph has a mix of authentic, independently owned restaurants and international chains. There are plenty of Vietnamese spots to grab Pho, classic South Shore pizza joints and neighborhood cafes. Italian is a major flavor here, as Sandler says, “La Scala Ristorante has been a Randolph staple for over 55 years and is one of the most popular restaurants in the Boston area.” Shoppers can head to Shaw’s and America’s Food Basket, right in town, and South Shore Plaza, about 4 miles north, covers retail needs.Prices are on the rise, but hang lower than Boston costs
Home values in Randolph have risen significantly in previous years, as the town continues to gain popularity. Despite the increase, Randolph remains relatively affordable. The median price is about $550,000, nearly 40% lower than in Boston. Buyers can choose from townhouses, condos and single-family colonials, Capes and ranch-style homes. Some neighborhoods have sidewalks, private driveways and spacious lots, giving off a more suburban feel than properties closer to Downtown Randolph .A 35-minute commuter rail ride into South Station
Randolph locals can choose from many transportation options in and out of town. “Randolph is known as the Hub of the South Shore, bordered by Route 24, Interstate 93 and intersected by state routes 28 and 139,” Sandler says. “We have excellent and convenient access to public transportation.” The town has both Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority and Brockton Area Transit bus services, as well as a commuter rail line out of the Holbrook/Randolph station. Interstate 93 runs along the northern border, providing a convenient 15-mile route into the city and the Boston Logan International Airport.Skiing, swimming and camping in the Blue Hills
On the northwest side of town, the Blue Hills Reservation is the largest hub for recreation. The park features miles of multiuse trails, a 36-hole golf course, a ski area and the Ponkapoag Pond, a popular spot for fishing, swimming and camping. Powers Farm has a pond for kayaking and wooden walking paths. During the warmer months, the farm hosts the Main Street Marketplace, where regional vendors sell their goods and bands play in the gazebo. The town also has a sizeable dog park with an agility course.Championship athletics at Randolph High School
According to Niche, the Randolph Public Schools district scores an overall C-plus and ranks among the top 10 most diverse districts in Massachusetts. Randolph High earns an A-minus for athletics, and the Blue Devils have won state championships in both football and basketball in recent years. Right next door in Braintree, the CATS Academy Boston has an A-plus for private high school education.Celebrating July 3rd
From concerts at the Powers Farm gazebo to team building at the Cochato Challenge Course, the town offers a variety of community activities. The Night Before the 4th parade and fireworks display is the most popular annual event each July, where residents celebrate America’s independence a day early.Recent data shows declining crime rates
According to Massachusetts Crime Statistics, the overall crime rate decreased by about 10% between 2022 and 2023. The crime rate in Randolph was also significantly lower than the state as a whole in 2023.

Agent Spotlight
Virginia ToddI became committed to providing the best experience in real estate following a nightmare experience buying my first home! I would have benefited from having an agent that explained the process to me, kept me on track throughout the process, negotiated on my behalf and walked me off the cliff when needed. Subsequently I learned all that I could about the entire buying/selling process and making that as stress free as possible. My strong values, work ethic, sense of humor and accessibility allow me to focus on my clients needs, understanding that, for most people, this is a huge financial and emotional decision.
When Virginia is not working, my other "job" is driving my daughters to their activities. My eldest does competitive Rhythmic Gymnastics and of course the gyms have to be far apart, one in Middleton and one in Woburn. Ask me where all the nearest Dunkin Donuts and libraries are :). If I ever had the time, I would be traveling and/or reading a book. During covid we got a dog after our cat of 17 years passed away. Max is my favorite child, as he loves me unconditionally as long as I keep feeding him. I also love reading and wanted to spread the love of reading, so I joined "Read to a Child", a non profit that matches up mentors with children that could use the one on one interaction while reading a great book. In fact, I love the program so much that I donate a part of each sale to them. I love to give back to the community and am on the board for a non profit "Housing Families" and I am also on the board for North Suffolk Community Services. With every closing I donate a portion of my commission to support Housing Families. I look forward to getting to know a little about you and help with your home search.
