Residential pocket by downtown Redwood City
Centennial is a neighborhood in Redwood City, a port city on the San Francisco Bay, also home to technology companies like Oracle and Electronic Arts. Centennial is within walking distance of the city's bustling downtown area, and the neighborhood is known for its competitive housing prices. "Redwood City has great weather and a broad price range, so it's accessible," says Maxine Dumas, a Broker with Dumas & Company who has lived and worked in Redwood City all her life. "It's a city with all walks of life. I love it. This neighborhood, in particular, is a nice little family area. It's flat, too, so you can ride your bike around. There are sidewalks and a nice little park. Great for kids."
Midcentury modern meets contemporary
Centennial has sidewalk-lined streets, and homes often have white picket fences. Manincured lawns with large trees and grassy lawns are found throughout the neighborhood. Homebuyers should know that Centennial scores a 9 out of 10 on the CAP Crime Index, higher than the national average of 4. Burglary, motor vehicle theft and larceny score the highest at a 10.
