Golf course community with Reno and Sierra Nevada Mountain views
“ArrowCreek is a 24-7 guard gated golf course community,” says Donna Spear, Realtor at Chase International with 20 years of experience in real estate. This master-planned community is known for its vistas: “The city lights are in demand when buyers look at homes here, but the Sierra Nevada Mountains are also stunning. The sunrises and sunsets are spectacular whenever you are in ArrowCreek,” says Spear. As for the residents, “There is a very good mix of retirees (golf enthusiasts), families (due to the quality of the nearby schools) and active adults (due to the close proximity of the ski areas, Lake Tahoe, hiking trails and other outdoor activities),” says Spear. Between the luxury homes of ArrowCreek and the Reno nightlife 14 miles north, the area “provides a wonderful quality of life that those living here enjoy and appreciate.”
Luxury homes for all seasons near Reno
Landscaped streets wind up the foothills, then flatten out once cars exit the neighborhood. “About 40% of the lots are custom homes and 60% are semi-custom homes,” says Spear. “And there are some rental properties in ArrowCreek – I think many renters are waiting for the right house to come on the market.” Lots start around $350,000 and most luxury homes are $1 to $3 million. At the top of the range is a modern five-bedroom sprawling desert estate over 7,000 square feet approaching $6 million. “ArrowCreek is primarily year-round residents,” says Spear. Though some folks head south in the wintertime, “in general, the people I know enjoy the four seasons that we have in Reno.”
