Getting around Richardson
Yale is located near President George Bush Turnpike and Highway 75, putting residents less than 20 miles from downtown Dallas. Local highways make it easy to connect elsewhere in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. "Highway 75 is highly used," says Debra Lustberg-Papert, a local and Ebby-Halliday Realtor. "It's important if you want to commute into Dallas for any reason." The highway is significant due to the neighborhood's car-dependent nature. The nearest hospital is Methodist Regional Medical Center. When residents want to travel beyond the Metroplex, the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport is less than 4 miles away.
