About Richfield, UT

Panoramaland in Sevier County

Richfield is the largest city in Sevier County and is home to over 8,200 residents. Its local economy is strengthened by its industries in gypsum and building material production, food processing and manufacturing and livestock. But most notably, the city's wealth of parks, stunning red rock formations and majestic Pahvant Mountains prove why this region of southern-central Utah is affectionately known as Panoramaland. "It's a peaceful and beautiful valley tucked between blue-tinged juniper and sagebrush mountains to the east and red rock mountains to the west. In the fall, the east mountains have radiantly colored aspen and oak trees," says Tiffany Andersen, a librarian at Richfield Public Library. She also speaks fondly of the Richfield community, remarking that while it's small enough to maintain a friendly hometown atmosphere, it also offers plenty of opportunities for recreation, culture and businesses both big and small. "And, of course, the 5-minute commute to work is great," she adds.

Richfield's recreation opportunities

The abundant parks of Richfield speak to its devotion to the great outdoors. Richfield City Park and Rotary Park have playgrounds. There's also a disc golf course at Centennial Park and Cove View Golf Course, which offers a driving range, putting green, and on-site lessons. Richfield is also within a 30-mile radius of several large areas for outdoor recreation. For starters, the relaxing mineral pools of Mystic Hot Springs are only 10 miles away. In Fishlake National Forest, hiking, hunting, fishing and horseback riding are just a few of the most popular activities. The Paiute Trail, part of Fishlake, can be traversed by ATV vehicles.

Keni Nelson
(605) 250-3740
Keni Nelson received her Master's in Real Estate Development (MRED) with an emphasis in Urban Planning from the University of Utah in May 2024. Keni loves to work with single-family home buyers and sellers, but especially loves to work with those who wish to take untraditional paths to homeownership, such as house-hacking, adding an ADU to a property, and co-buying. She also specializes in working with multi-family investors. In addition to serving as a Top 500 agent in the Salt Lake Metro, Keni also works with housing affordability non-profits and businesses locally and across the country to champion housing equity.

Originally from South Dakota, Keni has now called Salt Lake City home for a decade. To prove it, she's made it her job to know every mountain peak and downtown patio to ensure newcomers feel right at home. Apart from gardening, entertaining, and earning wine education certifications, her truest passion lies in helping people accomplish their real estate goals. Whether that’s putting down roots, growing their portfolio, or dabbling in both. When it comes to negotiating, Keni’s no shrinking violet: Golfing competitively in college equipped her with grace under pressure (something that comes in handy during real estate transactions). Having worked in PR, politics, event planning, and marketing, she's as driven as she is affable, and she brings both aspects to the table as she helps others find a place of their own.
