A community that cares

Old Town Rocklin is a community that cares, and the residents back it up with action. “Our police, our fire department and really everyone cares about what happens in Old Town and always has,” says Natalie Whistler of Coldwell Banker Realty, who has three decades of experience in the neighborhood. “When I moved here 26 years ago, they wanted to put a McDonalds on our corner, and the neighborhood fought it. It was never built, and we’ve blocked several other projects over the past few decades to keep the neighborhood how we like it.” Neighbors tend to get to know one another, as 66% of residents are homeowners. Located right on Interstate 80, residents can easily commute 20 miles southwest to Sacramento for work or entertainment.

Homes from the 2000s

Despite its name, Old Town Rocklin is home to new houses built in the 2000s, while the oldest homes are builds from the 1970s. The neighborhood features a mix of Mediterranean-inspired homes, contemporary Traditional homes and classic ranch-style houses. Prices range from $550,000 to $900,000. On the southern end of Old Town Rocklin, houses are neatly placed on winding residential roads that often end in cul-de-sacs. Many properties have backyards big enough to have a private pool. Parking is easy as houses have long driveways and attached multicar garages. Mature trees shade wide sidewalks, making it a pleasant neighborhood for dog walking. Houses are clustered closer together on the northern end of the neighborhood and feature community greenspace in place of yards.
