A family-oriented and convenient neighborhood
In 1996, Roseville city planners envisioned a place that would house over 4,000 residents and provide them with job opportunities. More than a quarter century later, that vision has become a reality, exceeding its original goal. The Highland Reserve neighborhood, which sits at the north end of Roseville, has welcomed over 6,000 residents into its dense collection of midsize, multistory Californian dwellings. Prices for homes start at $550,000 and go up to $1 million. Deborah Stafford, a local Sacramento resident and owner of the Stafford Realty Group, says the area is "centrally located, family-oriented, has great schools, and is close to the freeway." Stafford: "It has anything that you possibly need close by." Highland is also about a 23-mile drive from downtown Sacramento.

Lower utility costs at Highland Reserve
According to Stafford, residents in Highland Reserve receive extra benefits from the city of Roseville: "The city uses the taxes the businesses have to pay to benefit its own residents by cutting down utility costs. It's a huge reduction compared to, let's say, Rockland or Lincoln County nearby." Homes are primarily ranch-styles, bungalows and Mediterranean-inspired, starting at $550,000 and going up to $1 million. The median sale price is about $645,000. "There's strong home value for all the houses here," she says. Most residents are homeowners, coming in at 74%, while the remaining 26% rent.

The common joke is that Rocklin police have nothing to do due and are desperate for some action. Definitely see the police stationed around here a lot. Again, good place to grow up in, in terms of safety
