Homes near shopping and dining
Stanford is in the northeastern corner of Roseville and has all the amenities of a classic suburb. “You get the feel of a bigger city with all the places to shop and hang out, but it’s quaint at the same time,” says Katie Jacobs, a local property manager. “It’s a great way to be close to Sacramento if you want to work in the city but would rather have a quieter life at home.” The quiet life is complimented by an array of shopping and dining areas located on the neighborhood’s western edge off Highway 65. The area has a younger population, with 30% of residents under 18 years of age and only 9% over the age of 65. The population is also well-educated, with 44% being college graduates, higher than the national average. “It’s a great place to settle for the long haul,” says Jacobs. Stanford residents are certainly putting down roots as over 70% own verses renting.

New Mediterranean homes
With the western part of the neighborhood being dominated by retail, homes are located to the west. Streets unfold into cul-de-sacs with wide sidewalks, which are great for walking the dog. Houses range from modern Craftsman builds to Mediterranean-inspired homes built in the early 2000s. Single-family homes cost between $700,000 and $850,000. Homes are on compact lots, but there is still room for private pools in the backyard. Attached multi-car garages and long driveways make parking easy. While most of the housing is single-family homes, there are a few townhomes available for between $400,000 and $450,000.
Some homes built in the 200's have a subtle mediterranean style.
